Job summary

Centria Autism in Tucson invites qualified candidates for the Registered Behavior Technician position. The role involves one-on-one and small group ABA sessions for young children, under BCBA supervision, within a center-based program.

Responsibilities include data collection, progress communication with families, and adherence to safety and documentation standards in a supportive, child-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification (BACB).
• Willing to participate in the company’s background check process.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing to obtain CPR/First Aid certification.
• Willing to obtain TB test annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow the client's treatment plan developed by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training.
• Ensure timely documentation and reporting of progress.
• Communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by BCBA/BC.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparation of client materials and assessments.
