Centria Autism's Life Skills Autism Academy in Maryland seeks a Registered Behavior Technician to deliver one-on-one and group ABA therapy, following individualized treatment plans, and documenting progress. The role emphasizes data collection, family training, and adherence to safety protocols in a center-based setting.

Competenze

• Must hold and maintain current RBT certification as issued by BACB.
• Willing to participate in the company’s background check process.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to obtain TB test annually.
• Physically able to perform job tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and quick movements for child safety.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to perform repetitive tasks precisely.
• Ability to follow and carry out detailed instructions.
• Comfort with technology to record data on mobile devices and use digital applications.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cultural competency with flexibility and open-mindedness.

Mansioni

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as per the client’s plan.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training per the treatment plan.
• Ensure timely and proper documentation.
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers as directed by BCBA/BC.
• Report all incidents and safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment.
• Assist with preparation of client materials and assessments.
