Job summary

Centria Autism is seeking enthusiastic Behavior Technicians to work one-on-one with children, implementing individualized intervention plans under a BCBA's guidance. You will use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.

This role emphasizes patience, teamwork, and compassionate care. Training is provided, and you will gain hands-on experience supporting children with autism to reach their full potential, with opportunities for growth within Centria.

Qualifications

• Passionate about helping children with autism.
• Patient, compassionate, and able to work well in a team.
• 18+ years of age
• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification and Tuberculosis test (if you haven’t had one in the last year)
• Ability to pass a pre employment background check
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.)
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under BCBA guidance.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication, social, and daily living skills.
• Support children in staying safe and engaged during activities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and participate in ongoing training.
