Job summary

Centria seeks a Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) in Tucson, AZ. You will support children on the Autism Spectrum with ABA therapy in a 1:1 and small group setting under BCBA supervision.

Ideal candidates hold RBT certification or are willing to complete the 40-hour training and pass the competency exam within 45 days of hire. A high school diploma, reliable transportation, and CPR/First Aid eligibility are required.

Qualifications

• Must be BACB-registered or willing to complete RBT within 45 days.
• 18+ years old with reliable transportation; driver’s license and proof of insurance may be required.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid and TB test if not current.
• Physically able to bend, lift up to 50 lbs, and be active with children.
• Able to follow detailed treatment plans and record data accurately.
• Commitment to a background check process if offered employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 and small group ABA-based care.
• Follow individualized treatment plans created by BCBA/BC supervisor.
• Collect, record, and summarize observable client behaviors.
• Assist with caregiver training aligned to treatment protocols.
• Ensure timely documentation and reporting of client progress.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and engaging therapy environment.
