Job summary

Stantec in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an In-Building Wireless Designer to perform core technical duties under supervision. You will develop iBwave models for CDAS and ERCES, conduct site surveys, and prepare deliverables aligned with client intent.

You’ll support project managers, follow QA/QC, and participate in knowledge-sharing activities to advance your professional growth. You should bring an Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience and at least 5 years in the field.

Qualifications

• Accredited engineering degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5+ years related industry experience preferred.
• Familiarity with RF design principles and building systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops iBwave models for CDAS and ERCES with minimal supervision.
• Performs site surveys for surveys, progress inspections, and punch lists per project timelines.
• Prepares project deliverables per the client’s intent and scope of work in Stantec's proposal.
• Follows Stantec’s quality management process; reviews project deliverables before submitting to QA/QC reviewer.
• Actively participates in the engineering/professional community to build knowledge and growth.
• Meets or exceeds utilization goals and adheres to project budget.
• Assists or acts as the project manager by planning tasks and coordinating with other disciplines.
• Creates detailed instructions, delegates tasks, and reviews work for timely execution.
• Identifies roadblocks and competing priorities that may affect scope, schedule, and budget.
• Develops understanding of Stantec’s accounting and project management systems.
