Job summary

Day Wireless Systems is seeking a System Design Professional to design and develop complex wireless systems, including in-building DAS, Public Safety DAS, and LMR radio systems. You will produce wireless designs and layouts, BOMs, and complete construction drawing packages, coordinating with Architects, Engineers, GCs, and specialty contractors.

Minimum 5 years in wireless design, 2+ years with iBwave, 1+ year with AutoCAD, and SME in DAS or Motorola systems are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years designing wireless telecommunications systems including LMR or DAS.
• 2+ years using iBwave for wireless design and modeling.
• 1+ year using AutoCAD for engineering design and documentation.
• SME in Commercial or Public Safety DAS or Motorola radio systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop in-building wireless systems including DAS and LMR.
• Produce wireless system designs and layouts using AutoCAD and iBwave.
• Develop construction drawing packages with BOMs and installation docs.
• Coordinate with Architects, Engineers, GCs, and specialty contractors.
• Interface with AHJs and wireless carriers through project lifecycle.
• Provide remote and on-site support during commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Review RFIs, submittals, and construction-related documentation.
• Support planning activities including scope, scheduling, and budgeting.
