Job summary

First Hawaiian Bank is seeking a collaborative Banking Consultant for the Liliha Branch in Honolulu. You will deliver exceptional in-branch service, engage customers to identify needs, demonstrate digital banking, and advise on financial products to meet goals.

The role requires 2+ years in sales and service or an Associate degree, with a Monday–Friday schedule plus occasional Saturday rotation. Salary range provided with incentives.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business-related field or equivalent experience; or high school diploma with 2 years in sales and service.
• Retail/branch banking experience in operations and sales in financial services.
• Knowledge of banking/financial products and ability to grasp finance concepts.
• Must project a welcoming presence with strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
• Digitally savvy and confident in using digital banking technology for routine needs.
• Detail oriented with excellent follow-through.
• Adaptable and resourceful in a fast-paced environment.
• Growth mindset, upbeat, quick learner.
• Strategic thinker able to work independently or within a team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional in-branch customer service by proactively engaging customers to identify needs.
• Demonstrate digital banking options and fulfill day-to-day transactional needs.
• Advise customers on the full range of financial products and services to meet financial needs.
• Identify referral opportunities to a subject matter expert or relationship banker.

Education

Associate degree in business-related field or equivalent experience

High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years sales & service experience
