Job summary

Custom Goods, LLC in California seeks an Operations Specialist to provide first-level customer service and manage order activity in our warehouse systems. You will coordinate between customers and facility staff, process orders, and ensure accurate data across systems.

Responsibilities include handling inquiries, billing questions, and daily reports, while maintaining records of interactions and ensuring timely order entry and release of information to staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with two years of related experience.
• Experience in distribution/fulfillment environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office/Outlook and Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to cross-train others and maintain data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provide first level customer service to internal and external customers by phone or written communication.
• Process client orders, receipts, confirmations, and carrier communications.
• Maintain data integrity in internal systems and accurate client account records.
• Prepare documents such as work orders, bills of lading, and packing lists to route materials.
• Communicate order status and inquiries to customers and staff in a professional manner.
• Record customer interactions, inquiries, complaints, and actions taken.
• Assist in tracking client activities and complete daily spreadsheets.
• Monthly billing responsibilities including close and entry of charge codes for orders.
• Collaborate with associates, supervisors, managers, and senior management.
