Custom Goods Logistics is seeking an Operations Specialist to deliver first-level customer service to internal and external customers. You will work within warehouse management systems to track orders and coordinate with facility staff, ensuring accurate data and timely communication.

The role involves order entry, billing support, and generating shipping documents, with emphasis on data integrity and professional communication across teams in a distribution/fulfillment environment.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED and two years’ related experience.
• Experience in distribution/fulfillment environment is preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office/Outlook/WMS.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to cross train others.
• Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail.
• Must be professional and adaptable to changing situations.

Responsabilidades

• Process Client Orders or Receipts, Order Confirmations, Carrier Communications and handle general account records.
• Communicate professionally with customers by phone or written to provide information and support.
• Maintain data integrity of account information in internal systems.
• Provide departmental support functions for Client as assigned.
• Use internal systems for tasks such as order entry, inventory inquiries, and receipt processing.
• Prepare daily reports and worksheets as required by Client and Management.
• Ensure accurate order entry and respond to billing questions.
• Record details of inquiries, complaints, or comments, and actions taken.
• Contact customers to respond to inquiries or notify order status or adjustments.
• Track Client activities and complete daily spreadsheets.
• Discuss products, shipping, and services with customers to take orders or gather details.
• Monthly billing responsibilities including close and enter charge codes.
