Job summary

Custom Goods, LLC in California seeks a Warehouse & Logistics Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, monitor inbound and outbound flows, and ensure accurate inventory management with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

You will coach and develop a team of frontline associates, set priorities, lead start-up meetings, and partner with HR and Operations to recruit and train staff while driving continuous improvement through Lean, 5S and Kaizen initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 3 years related experience in warehouse supervision/leadership.
• Experience with shipping, receiving and inventory control.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to establish priorities and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets and Warehouse/Yard Management Systems or Transportation Management Systems desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee warehouse floor activities including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, put-away and replenishment.
• Allocate labor based on daily volume forecasts and priorities.
• Monitor production flow to ensure on-time and accurate order fulfillment.
• Support the implementation of WMS/TMS processes and adherence to SOPs.
• Ensure warehouse equipment (forklifts, scanners, conveyors) is properly used and maintained.
