Job summary

Custom Goods LLC is seeking an Operations Specialist to provide first-level customer service and manage orders within warehouse management systems. The role emphasizes prompt communication with customers and accurate data handling across internal systems and records.

The incumbent will support client accounts, process orders, generate reports, and assist in billing and shipping documentation while maintaining strong professional standards and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Two years related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office/Outlook/WMS.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to cross train others.
• Excellent data entry skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Process client orders and receipts, carrier communications, and account records.
• Communicate professionally with customers by phone or written correspondence.
• Maintain data integrity in company systems.
• Provide departmental support to clients as assigned.
• Use internal systems for order entry, inventory inquiries, and receipt processing.
• Complete daily reports and worksheets as required.
• Enter orders accurately and release information to staff; respond to billing questions.
• Maintain records of customer interactions and resolutions.
• Contact customers to provide order status updates and adjustments.
• Track client activities and compile daily spreadsheets.
• Interact with customers to provide product and shipping information; take orders.
• Handle monthly billing close and coding for orders and work orders.
• Prepare documents: work orders, bills of lading, shipping orders, invoices, packing lists.
