ASF is seeking a detail‑oriented Export Coordinator to manage end‑to‑end export processes, coordinate shipments from origin to destination, and ensure accurate documentation.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of export experience, a Bachelor’s in International Business or related field, and proficiency with MS Office. Familiarity with Descartes or similar export software is a plus.

Onsite work schedule is Monday through Friday in Mobile, with regional offices in Savannah and Charleston.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, or related field preferred.
• 3+ years Export/related field experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiar with export/import documentation software/tools (e.g., Descartes).

Responsabilités

• Coordinate end-to-end export process from origin to destination.
• Prepare/review/process export documents: invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, export declarations.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements.
• Book cargo space with carriers and arrange transportation logistics.
• Track shipments, resolve delays, and provide updates to customers.
• Manage billing and invoicing for export files.
• Maintain accurate shipment records for auditing and reporting.
• Handle customer inquiries and provide timely status updates.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the end-to-end export process, including order processing, scheduling shipments, and tracking from origin to destination.
• Prepare, review, and process export documentation such as commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, export declarations, and other required paperwork.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, export controls, and any relevant government agency rules (e.g., filing AES in the US if applicable).
• Book cargo space with carriers (ocean shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, or freight forwarders) and arrange transportation logistics.
• Track and monitor shipments in transit, resolve issues or delays, and provide updates to customers and stakeholders.
• Manage billing and invoicing for assigned export files, ensuring all charges are accurate and processed in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, transactions, and documentation for auditing and reporting purposes.
• Handle customer inquiries, provide status updates, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction regarding shipment timelines and delivery.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Familiarity with export and import documentation software/tools is a plus (Descartes).
• Ocean import/export experience preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of Export and/or related field preferred.
