East Coast CES of Texas in Houston seeks a Customer Service Associate to handle daily communications with import customers, perform data entry in the Transportation Management System, and ensure charges are accurate before invoicing. The role requires attention to detail, multitasking, and strong written and verbal communication.

You will work with dispatch and carriers to resolve issues, verify cargo releases after customs, and maintain professional customer interactions by phone and email,

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED required; higher education preferred.
• Experience with customer service in a logistics environment is valued.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ability to learn new systems.

Mansioni

• Data entry into Transportation Management System (Trinium or similar).
• Daily customer communication via phone and email on import moves.
• Ensure cargo is released only after customs clearance; verify charges.
• Coordinate with dispatch and trucking for timely pickups and releases.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism.
