East Coast C.E.S. Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Representative to handle inquiries from the Import community, perform data entry in the TMS, and coordinate with dispatch and drivers.

You will manage customer communications via phone and email, ensuring accurate charges and proper cargo release in compliance with US Customs requirements. Strong multitasking, professional communication, and proficiency with MS Office are essential.

Competenze

• Minimum of 2 years in a similar role preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with transportation or customer-service software a plus.
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple inquiries simultaneously.
• Professional and courteous interaction with customers and partners.

Mansioni

• Data entry into Safeway's Transportation Management System (Trinium).
• Handle daily customer communications via phone and email regarding US Customs holds and container moves.
• Ensure cargo is released only after customs clearance; verify charges for accuracy.
• Coordinate with dispatch, drivers, and SSL to resolve issues and inform customers.
• Respond to customer or US Customs inquiries promptly and professionally.
• Check driver documents for container and LCL pickups and ensure proper release.
• Monitor system statuses to confirm cargo release, payments, and freight release.
• Ensure trucking company authorization for pickups and chassis reception.
