Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a Customs Brokerage Import Supervisor I in Dallas to oversee daily import/export brokerage operations and ensure compliant, timely clearances. You will supervise staff, review entries for accuracy, and liaise with clients and agencies to maintain service quality.

The role requires 3–5 years in customs brokerage, leadership ability, and familiarity with CBP and related regulations. Education and licensing preferences apply, with strong MS Office and brokerage software

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3–5 years of customs brokerage experience.
• Prior supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• U.S. Customs Broker License preferred or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily customs brokerage activities including filings and valuations.
• Ensure timely clearance of shipments and meet service levels.
• Review and approve entries for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Maintain CBP, FDA, USDA, EPA and related regulatory compliance.
• Stay current on changes in customs laws, tariffs and compliance standards.
• Train, mentor and supervise brokerage staff.
• Assign workloads, monitor performance and meet productivity targets.
• Communicate with clients regarding requirements and delays.
