Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a Transportation and Customs Operations supervisor. You will oversee shipment documentation, duties calculations, and regulatory compliance for imports/exports, ensuring accuracy and client satisfaction.

The role requires at least a high school diploma with four years of related experience and one year of supervisory experience; a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with four years related experience.
• One year supervisory experience; Bachelor’s preferred or equivalent.
• Knowledge of ITAR, import/export compliance and hazmat regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
• Supervise department activities, train staff, and conduct regular staff meetings.
• Oversee shipment documentation accuracy and regulatory compliance.
• Compute duties, tariffs, and weight/volume for imports/exports; liaise with customs.
• Establish policies for customs clearance; monitor performance and audit documents.
• Communicate progress to operations manager; participate in department projects.
