Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Implementations Network Engineer to support DISA capabilities at Scott AFB, IL. The role involves installation oversight, configuration, testing, and servicing of network equipment for DoD networks. An active Secret clearance is required to start.

The candidate will work on DISA standards, coordinate with project managers, and ensure accurate POC, location, and interface data for service activations. BS degree and DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of network protocols and hard­ware used in DoD environments.
• Experience with BGP/OSPF, VLANs, VPNs, and IP addressing schemes.
• Ability to analyze requirements and coordinate with stakeholders for DISA projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, testing, monitoring of network equipment per DISA standards.
• Configure out-of-band management network hardware and baseline configurations.
• Upgrade software on Cisco and Juniper devices.
• Create project documentation for IP addressing schemes and port assignments.
