Job summary

Leidos is seeking an Implementations Network Engineer at Scott AFB, IL to oversee installation, configuration, testing, and activation of DoD network equipment under DISA standards.

The position requires a Secret clearance, DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification (Security+ CE or equivalent), and hands-on experience with Cisco/Juniper gear. You will coordinate IT&A, project planning, and stakeholder approvals to keep networks moving.

Qualifications

• Requires BS degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Active Secret clearance required.
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with customers for IT&A and data input for new network equipment activations to ensure DISA standards.
• Configure and maintain DISA's out-of-band management network using baseline configurations for Cisco & Juniper devices.
• Upgrade software on Cisco and Juniper devices.
• Create/update project planning documentation for IP addressing schemes and port assignments.
• Perform systems analysis to determine hardware/software requirements in support of customer resources.
• Verify POC, location, and interface data per provided requirements.
• Verify correct POC for each location through which the circuit traverses.
• Engage with DISA project managers/customers to resolve unclear requirements.
• Facilitate approvals to ensure continual progress of service requests.
