Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural/Civil Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent.
• Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years of experience as a Structural Engineer in water resource projects.
• P.E. or P.Eng. licensure a plus.
• Experience with water resource infrastructure including fishery projects, hydropower, dams, and related systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Design Documentation Reports and Technical Memorandums summarizing project criteria and design methodologies.
• Evaluate and apply advanced structural design techniques and criteria.
• Perform structural computations using hand methods and design software per current codes.
• Develop project details and drawings by hand or CAD.
• Edit specifications and assist with Project Manual preparation.
• Support construction phase activities including submittal reviews and site observations.
• Develop FEA models and perform linear and nonlinear analyses; present results to clients.
• Manage planning and construction support services for projects.
• Collect field data and as-built information to establish existing conditions.
• Provide mentorship to other engineering staff.
