Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Administrative Assistant certificate a plus
• Experience: 1+ year in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors with a positive attitude.
• Manage patient and business documentation with confidentiality.
• Verify insurance benefits and explain billing policies.
• Determine and collect patient financial responsibility.
• Support practice manager and staff for smooth operations.
• Ensure HIPAA/OSHA compliance in processes.
• Perform standard front-desk administrative tasks.
• Oversee quality assurance and CLIA/lab tracking.
• Travel to other UH Urgent Care locations as needed.
