Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with required addiction-counselor certifications.
• Minimum 6 months experience in addictions setting.
• Certifications must be maintained during employment.
• Ability to learn billing codes within 2 months.
• Sensitivity to multicultural populations.
• Credentialing as qualified mental health professional where applicable.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• CPR, First Aid, CPI certification on date of employment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary support and case manager for individuals with mental illness, focusing on substance abuse and addictions.
• Help clients live as independently as possible in their chosen community.
• Coordinate services and supports to promote recovery and housing stability.
