Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat patients of all ages as a clinical resource for staff and students. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered and collaboration with pediatric PT/OT teams is supported.

Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, and documentation in the therapy EMR, with ongoing CE requirements for acute stroke care.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in speech-language pathology or related field.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in good standing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days.
• Continued education required for acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats patients with speech and language impairments.
• Administers standardized tests and selects appropriate evaluation materials.
• Develops and implements care plans with measurable goals.
• Documents outcomes and coordinates with therapy team and family.
