Responsibilities include collecting case histories, conducting assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with families and other professionals. The role emphasizes education for patients and caregivers and coordination with pediatric therapy teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in speech-language pathology or related field.
• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - IDFPR.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days - AHA.
• Attend and satisfactorily complete continuing education on acute stroke care.

Responsibilities

• Collects case history information and integrates information from patients, family, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals.
• Conducts assessment procedures for speech and language pathology.
• Develops and implements a setting-appropriate care plan with measurable goals.
• Interprets information to develop a treatment plan and recommendations.
