Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking dedicated Instructional Support Paraprofessionals for the 2026-2027 school year. You will assist teachers, support students with diverse needs, and help build confidence and life skills in a collaborative school setting.

Ideal candidates have experience with children or individuals with special needs, strong communication, and the ability to follow instructional plans in both general and special education environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with special needs.
• Ability to follow instructional plans, classroom procedures, and behavioral support strategies.
• Authorization to work in the United States; English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, small-group, and classroom-wide instructional support.
• Reinforce teacher-led lessons, activities, and routines.
• Assist students with academic tasks and skill development activities.
• Support implementation of IEPs, accommodations, and classroom modifications as directed.
• Help students stay engaged, focused, and actively participating in classroom activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and other professionals.
