Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking dedicated Instructional Support Paraprofessionals to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. In this role, you'll work closely with teachers and special education staff to support students with diverse learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.

You may provide one-on-one or small-group support, reinforce classroom instruction, and assist with IEP implementation, accommodations, and progress monitoring.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 4 months of applied behavior analysis (ABA) experience required.
• Experience with children or individuals with special needs.
• Ability to support students in both individual and group learning environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Authorization to work in the United States and English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, small-group, and classroom-wide instructional support.
• Reinforce teacher-led lessons, instructional activities, and classroom routines.
• Assist students with academic tasks, assignments, and skill development activities.
• Support implementation of IEPs, accommodations, and classroom modifications as directed.
• Help students remain engaged, focused, and actively participating in classroom activities.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, therapists, administrators, and other educational professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and student records as required by the assignment.
