Job summary

The Elwood Community School Corporation is seeking a part-time IT Support Technician to provide frontline technical assistance to district staff and students at Elwood JR/SR High School. You will respond to tickets, troubleshoot hardware and software, and support Chromebook deployment and classroom technology.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required or equivalent.
• Experience troubleshooting computers and common technology.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with staff and students.
• Willingness to learn new technology systems and apps.
• Ability to prioritize multiple requests independently.
• Maintain confidentiality of student and staff information.

Responsibilities

• Respond to staff and student technology requests via ticketing system.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and account issues.
• Provide on-site support for classroom and staff technology equipment.
• Assist with Chromebook deployment, repairs, and prep.
• Help with device deployment, inventory, and lifecycle tasks.
• Support basic Google Workspace and district-approved apps.
