Job summary

Windsor Public Schools is seeking a Jr. Systems Analyst / Technology Support Technician to join our district Technology team.

This role blends data and systems work—supporting configuration, data integrity, and reporting of PowerSchool and other district information and inventory systems—with hands-on hardware and software support across multiple school sites. You will travel between schools, troubleshoot issues, maintain device images, and provide on-site and remote assistance as needed.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; basic knowledge of Microsoft Access and SQL.
• Experience with data collection and reporting in a public education environment.
• Ability to travel between school sites and work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong problem-solving skills and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain student and staff records as directed.
• Validate data and troubleshoot reporting errors.
• Assist in developing user documentation and department policies for application systems.
• Provide end-user training and support.
• Configure and integrate student information systems and related software.
• Provide excellent customer service via phone, email, video, and in-person support.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware/software issues with district technologies.
• Image, deploy, and maintain devices across school sites.
• Respond to and resolve help desk tickets in a timely manner.
• Assist with basic network connectivity troubleshooting.
• Support classroom and event technology setup.
• Travel between schools and central office to provide on-site support.
• Maintain inventory records of technology assets.
