Job summary

Oxnard School District is seeking two Technology Services Technicians to join our IT team and support teaching, learning, and daily school operations.

You'll install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot computers, tablets, mobile devices, and peripherals, while supporting LAN/WAN, servers, and VoIP systems. A pair of years of related experience and two years of college coursework (incl 12 CS/MIS units) are required, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

Two years of college-level coursework including at least 12 CS/MIS units.
Two years of experience in the installation, operation, and maintenance of computer workstations, servers, and networks.
Possession of an appropriate, valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

Installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting computers, tablets, mobile devices, and peripheral equipment.
Supporting local and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), servers, and related systems.
Troubleshooting software applications, telephone systems, and VoIP technology.
Providing responsive technical assistance and guidance to District staff.
Diagnosing technical problems and implementing effective solutions to minimize disruptions.
