Job summary

Oceanside Unified School District is seeking an IT Support Technician for the Information Technology Department. The 8 hour/day, 12 month position involves installing, maintaining, and repairing computer systems including PCs, servers, and networks.

You will assist users with software training and contribute to analyses of data processing procedures. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, with coursework in computer science, and experience or training in microcomputer technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degrees or higher are not required; a high school diploma with computer science coursework is acceptable.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for user training and documentation.
• Ability to analyze procedures, diagnose issues, and propose effective solutions.
