Job summary

Garden Grove Unified School District seeks an IT Technician to install, maintain, and repair district IT equipment and networks. You will troubleshoot computer systems, assist in LAN setups, and provide end-user support across school sites.

The role requires a high school diploma with IT coursework and two years of relevant experience; knowledge of Mac and Windows OS is essential. A+/Network+ is desirable, plus a valid CA driver license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with IT-related coursework and two years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of Mac OS, Windows OS and basic network concepts.
• A+ or Network+ certifications desirable.
• Experience in educational settings preferred.
• Valid California driver license or equivalent acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Analyzes computer malfunctions and performs corrective actions.
• Installs, replaces, and relocates computer equipment and peripherals.
• Assists in setting up local area networks and related equipment.
• Performs routine hardware/software repairs and software installations.
• Provides user training and support via phone, email, or in person.
