Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a School-Based Behavior Technician to support PK-12 students in a school setting for the 2026-2027 year. This part-time role offers onsite support, with 1:1 and 2:1 supervision, under clinical supervision from The Stepping Stones Group.

You will work with students across general and special education, implementing behavior support plans, collecting progress data, and helping students develop academic and social-emotional skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of 40-hour behavioral training OR 6 months ABA experience.
• Experience in special education or behavioral support is required.
• Ability to obtain TB test, fingerprinting, and background clearance.
• Reliable transportation and ability to assist with toileting/diapering.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support during the school day.
• Implement behavioral plans and BIPs; support student progress.
• Assist with daily living needs and transitions during the day.
• Document behavioral data and maintain confidentiality.
• Support teachers and aides and help with classroom activities.
