Job summary

The Stepping Stones Group is seeking a part-time Behavior Technician to support PK-12 students in a school-based setting for the 2026-27 school year. You will work 1:1 or small groups, provide behavioral support, implement Behavior Intervention Plans, and receive clinical supervision from The Stepping Stones Group.

This role focuses on helping students with academic and social-emotional goals, requires a high school diploma and ABA experience or 40-hour training, onsite in California, with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion of a 40-hour behavioral training course or 6 months ABA experience is required.
• Experience in special education, behavioral support, juvenile justice, mental health, or similar settings is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1, 2:1, and small-group support throughout the school day.
• Provide behavioral support and implement behavior plans including BIPs.
• Assist the teacher and classroom aides as needed.
• Support students during transitions, arrival, dismissal, lunch, and recess.
• Maintain accurate documentation and student records with confidentiality.
