The Laborers Funds Administrative Office of Northern California, Inc. is seeking a Retirement Benefits Analyst to join our team in Pleasanton, CA.

The role focuses on administering union negotiated fringe benefits, primarily pension benefits, in a fast-paced environment with high member interaction. You will provide excellent customer service, communicate benefit information, process applications and respond to inquiries including QDROs and liens, while collaborating with the Benefits team on

Qualifications

• Two years of prior experience in an employee benefits environment.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish (preferred).
• Knowledge of Defined Benefit and Defined Contributions plans (preferred).
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• High level of analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word) and computer systems.
• Self-motivation and discretion under pressure.
• Analytical and detail-oriented with attention to accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process Laborers pension benefits with accuracy.
• Provide excellent customer service on the phone and in person to union Laborers and their families.
• Communicate policies, regulations, and benefit information.
• Process applications and documents.
• Respond to inquiries including QDROs and liens.
• Work on reports, special tasks and projects.
• Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
