Job summary

The Laborers Funds Administrative Office of Northern California, Inc. is seeking a Retirement Benefits Analyst in Pleasanton, CA to administer union negotiated fringe benefits with a primary focus on pension processing in a high-volume environment.

The role requires two years in employee benefits, strong analytical and organizational skills, and proficient MS Office use; bilingual Spanish is preferred. You will handle member interactions by phone and in person while ensuring confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Two years of prior experience in an employee benefits environment.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish preferred.
• Knowledge of Defined Benefit and Defined Contributions plans preferred.
• Ability to manage several projects while meeting deadlines.
• High level of analytical skills and attention to accuracy.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Proficient in MS Suite and computer systems.
• Discretion with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Administer union negotiated fringe benefits with a focus on pension processing.
• Provide excellent customer service by phone and in person.
• Communicate policies, regulations, and benefit information.
• Process applications and documents; respond to inquiries including QDROs and liens.
• Assist with reports, special tasks, and projects as assigned.
