Job summary

The ideal candidate holds an active RT license (RT or RRT) and at least 2+ years of in-patient experience, with strong clinical judgment, documentation, and communication skills to support diverse respiratory care needs.

Qualifications

• Valid RT credential with active license
• Current BLS certification; ACLS/PALS/NRP a plus
• Experience with ventilator management and airway care
• Strong decision-making and teamwork
• Excellent communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and manage patients with respiratory disorders with physicians and nursing staff
• Administer prescribed medications and therapies, including oxygen, aerosols, and chest physiotherapy
• Operate and maintain ventilators, CPAP/BiPAP, and pulse oximeters
• Educate patients and families on care plans and equipment usage
• Respond to respiratory emergencies and participate in rapid response and code situations
• Document interventions and progress per protocols
