Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy and licensed in the state of practice.
• Associate’s degree required; BA/BS or higher preferred; BSRT preferred.
• NBRC-credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and monitor oxygen therapy and equipment per prescribed plans.
• Perform diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions per policy.
• Initiate and manage mechanical and non-invasive ventilation.
• Document therapy, communicate with the healthcare team, and ensure PHI protection.
• Conduct emergency respiratory care techniques and blood gas analysis.
• Operate in all patient care areas and maintain EMR proficiency.
• Follow safety guidelines and complete annual proficiency evaluations.

Education

Associate's degree in respiratory therapy

BA/BS or higher preferred

BSRT preferred
