• Graduate of an approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy required.
• BA/BS or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge in oxygen delivery and conducts prescribed procedures.
• Administers therapeutic procedures and performs diagnostics.
• Initiates and maintains mechanical and non-invasive ventilators.
• Evaluates current therapies and makes recommendations for plans of care and patient education.
• Documents therapy and communicates with the healthcare team.
• Performs and evaluates blood sampling analysis and interprets results.
• Works independently across patient care areas and uses EMR in Respiratory Care.
• Follows safety guidelines and completes regulatory requirements.
