Job summary

People Incorporated is seeking a Program Operations Manager to oversee operations at assigned residential sites. The role ensures quality care, regulatory compliance, staffing support, and person-centered environments for adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities.

Key responsibilities include supervising care staff, coordinating with guardians and clinicians, managing site budgets, and maintaining safety and licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services or related field with 2+ years related experience (1+ year supervisory) or an associate’s degree with 3+ years related experience (1+ year supervisory)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to demonstrate effective project management skills
• Ability to follow organization policies, procedures, and management decisions
• Ability to supervise or coordinate others in a residential setting serving developmentally and intellectually disabled adults
• Ability to respond adeptly and responsibly to site and division emergencies
• Ability to safely transport individuals using an Agency and/or personal vehicle
• Qualifying criminal background check, driving record, and valid driver’s license
• Current copy of all required health records and TB assessments

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily supports, medical needs, and service plans for individuals
• Supervise, train, and schedule direct care staff
• Maintain licensing compliance, safety drills, and quality assurance
• Coordinate with guardians, clinicians, and outside agencies
• Manage site budgets, payroll, and facility needs
• Serve in an on-call rotation and assist other sites as needed
