Job summary

Northeast Center for Youth & Families, Inc. (NCYF) seeks a full-time Clinic Billing & Scheduling Coordinator for our Easthampton, MA outpatient clinic.

The role handles 3rd party billing, tracks payments, processes referrals, and schedules appointments with APRN and Psychiatrist. Responsibilities include reviewing payments, following up on denials, verifying insurance, collecting balances, and communicating with clients.

Qualifications

• Medical Billing & Coding Certification.
• 3–5 years of experience with 3rd party billing and scheduling.
• Approved CORI, DCF background checks.

Responsibilities

• Review client payments and apply to claims weekly.
• Track claims and follow up with 3rd party billing company regarding denials.
• Review client billing statements.
• Process referrals; set up intakes; verify insurance.
• Schedule follow up appointments for APRN and Psychiatrist.
• Process new referrals and set up appointments for clinic.
• Send out on-call files - releases (ROI) and consents.
