Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Current CPR certification or obtainable upon offer.
• Flexibility to work on weekends and national holidays.

Responsibilities

• Screen newborns for hearing loss in the hospital setting.
• Evaluate each patient for screen readiness prior to screening.
• Collect data/demographics and perform the hearing screen for eligible babies.
• Document and upload screen results and billing information daily.
• Educate parents on the necessity and meaning of screens.
• Notify supervisor of missed or refer babies and schedule follow-ups.
