Job summary

Boulder County Human Services Department is seeking a Long-Term Care Eligibility Technician to determine benefits for programs like Health First Colorado (Medicaid) and SNAP. This full-time, benefited role operates Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, at 515 Coffman St., Longmont, CO. The position is non-exempt and offers a comprehensive benefits package and PSLF eligibility.

Hiring salary range is $55,116 to $67,254 annually. Candidates must reside in Colorado and pass a background check.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience working with the public.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred; additional compensation for bilingual skills.

Responsibilities

• Gathers and reviews financial and other pertinent information to determine eligibility for public assistance and Medicaid.
• Verifies information by direct contacts, phone contacts, or home visits.
• Informs applicants/recipients of program requirements and benefits.
• Assists applicants in completing forms and obtaining verification.
• Enters data into computer systems and uses systems to gather and verify data.
