Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy in patients’ homes under physician supervision. The role covers a variety of home settings, including single or multi-family homes, assisted living, independent living, and memory care.

The ideal candidate will evaluate and treat language, motor speech, dysphagia, and cognitive-communication disorders, including augmentative communication needs, in a patient-focused, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must possess automobile liability insurance.
• Must wear seat belts at all times while driving.
• Dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
• Must be able to drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions.
• Currently licensed as an SLP in the State of Employment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide skilled speech-language therapy in a home setting under the care of an attending physician.
• Treat patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, voice disorders, and augmentative/alternative communication needs.
• Work with patients in single or multi-family homes, assisted living, independent living, or memory care settings.
