Job summary
Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to evaluate and treat clients in home settings, under the supervision of an attending physician. This role may serve clients in single-family homes, assisted living, independent living, or memory care environments.
You will work with patients who have language impairments, dysphagia, cognitive communication challenges, or voice disorders, including those post-stroke or with Parkinson’s or dementia, to improve communication
Qualifications
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Must possess automobile liability insurance.
- Dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
- Must be able to drive in all weather conditions.
- Currently licensed as an SLP in the state of employment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and provide skilled speech-language therapy in home care settings.
- Treat patients with language impairments, dysphagia, cognitive communication difficulties, and voice disorders.
- Collaborate with attending physicians and care teams to coordinate care.
- Serve patients in homes or memory care environments as needed.
