Job summary

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist to provide skilled therapy in patients’ homes, under the care of an attending physician.

The SLP evaluates and treats language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia, and cognitive-communication difficulties, often serving patients who have had a stroke or progressive conditions such as Parkinson’s disease or dementia, across homes, memory care, assisted living and related settings.

Qualifications

• Must hold current SLP licensure in the state of employment.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must maintain automobile liability insurance.
• Must wear seat belts at all times while driving.
• Dependable transportation kept in good working condition.
• Must be able to drive in all types of weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide skilled speech-language therapy to individuals in patients’ homes.
• Treat patients with language impairments, motor speech disorders, dysphagia and cognitive-communication difficulties.
• Work with patients who have had a stroke or progressive diseases such as Parkinson’s disease or dementia in home or memory care settings.
