Job summary

The South Carolina Department of Social Services seeks a Fleet and Facility Coordinator to support agency operations by coordinating logistics, vehicle data, and service deliveries across DSS locations.

You will act as the main contact for state fleet vehicles, manage billing data, assist with security systems, and help maintain contact databases and invoices. A combination of education and fleet experience is required with strong organizational skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 8 years of related experience.
• Associate Degree with 6 years of related experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of related experience.
• Master’s Degree or higher with 2 years in the field.
• 3 years of fleet management experience, including lifecycle oversight and policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor logistics to support agency operations.
• Primary contact for state fleet vehicles and maintain fleet data systems.
• Coordinate work stations and service deliveries for all DSS locations.
• Assist with security system installation, tracking, and compliance.
• Maintain databases for State/County contacts, landlords, and vendors.
• Support records retention and processing of internal invoices.
• Provide back-up support to Administrative Specialist and Postal Director.
