Job summary

The Department of Economic Security seeks an Eligibility Interviewer to determine eligibility for Medical, Nutrition, and Cash Assistance in a fast-paced call center setting. Based in Somerton, AZ, you will gather information, conduct interviews, and guide applicants through the enrollment process with accurate data entry.

Ideal candidates have strong communication skills, customer service experience, and the ability to work independently while following procedures and meeting performance

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of eligibility reviews or customer service experience.
• High School Diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone-based customer service in a call center.
• Attend paid classroom training plus on-the-job training.
• Collect information to determine eligibility for Medical, Nutrition, and Cash Assistance.
• Enter data across multiple screens while interviewing.
• Maintain agency standards in a high-volume call center.
