Job summary

Department of Economic Security (DES) seeks an Eligibility Interviewer to determine eligibility for Nutrition, Medical, and Cash assistance. This on-site role requires strong customer service, independent decision-making, and the ability to handle fast-paced interactions both in person and by phone.

You will participate in paid classroom training and complete the interview process, collecting information and entering it into multiple screens with accuracy and timeliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in eligibility reviews or customer service preferred.
• On-site, in-office position with in-person and phone interviews.

Responsibilities

• In-person or phone client interviews to determine eligibility.
• Attend classroom training with on-the-job training.
• Provide excellent customer service to individuals and families.
• Collect information to determine eligibility for Medical/Nutrition/Cash assistance.
• Enter data during interviews and navigate multiple screens.
