Job summary

Bridgewell seeks a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in residential and community settings.

You will provide daily living support, skills training, and supervision, while maintaining documentation and coordinating with guardians and staff. Training in MAP, FA/CPR, and other certifications is provided, with a focus on safety and empowerment.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication; clear documentation.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Computer literacy; proficient with Microsoft Word/Excel/web apps.
• Ability to drive a large vehicle and hold a valid US driver’s license with at least 1 year of driving experience in the US.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and skills training in activities of daily living.
• Foster independence and decision-making.
• Administer medications as per MAP regulations and training.
• Maintain documentation and progress notes per standards.
• Transport and accompany individuals to activities outside the program.
• Attend staff meetings and uphold safety policies.
