Job summary

Bridgewell in Lowell, MA is seeking a Direct Support Professional to assist individuals with developmental, physical, and psychiatric disabilities in daily living, supervision, and skills training within our residential program and community settings.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain required documentation, and complete trainings such as FA/CPR, PABC, MAP while supporting clients to build independence and community connections.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to drive a large or wheelchair van with a valid US license.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and assist people with skills training in daily living.
• Develop independence by creating opportunities for clients.
• Administer medications per MAP regulations.
• Maintain progress notes and documentation.
• Transport and accompany clients to activities and appointments.
• Assist with accessing community resources.
• Maintain safety and compliance with Bridgewell policies.
