Job summary

Ohio Living is seeking a Culinary and Nutritional Services Supervisor to organize and direct all aspects of service and hospitality in the Culinary and Nutritional Services Department, ensuring quality nutrition and safe, sanitary operations daily.

The role requires leadership to manage meals, menus, inventory, and coordination with other departments while maintaining compliance with standards and regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• ServSafe certification required or willing to obtain within a reasonable timeframe.
• Two years experience in a food service and/or hospitality environment required.
• One year experience in food service and/or hospitality supervision preferred.
• Knowledge of service operations with focus on quality, sanitation, cost control, and presentation required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and assists in preparation of all products and meals so they are palatable and appetizing in appearance by following planned menus.
• Ensures timely and efficient meal service by being available in service areas at meal times.
• Maintains inventory of leftover foods and oversees ordering and stocking.
• Ensures quality and sanitation across all culinary areas and equipment.
